Terms & Conditions
1. We always try to provide the products chosen by our customers that are shown on our site. But sometimes it may happen that the displayed arrangement or color is not available in our stock or due to some other cause, which is beyond our control, the product delivered differs a little from the one displayed. It varies depending on our stock. We also possess the right to change the goods of the same or higher value, keeping in mind their quality as we always put our best foot forward to provide our customer with the best quality products.
2. Cakes are baked fresh by the bakeries within 10.30 A.M. Thus it is possible for us to deliver cakes only after that time. Under some circumstances, if our customers request us to store the cake and deliver it in the next morning, we can do it but it is advised not to do so.
3. The time of our delivery deviates from the same day of placing the order till three business days depending upon the location. For metropolitan cities, we deliver our products on the same day. For major cities, it is done within two business days. Within three business days the delivery is done for other locations.
4. Our customers are assured by us of delivery on a specific date but we do not guarantee them of a particular time. We make our best efforts to deliver gifts on or before the time specified by our customers and process orders as soon as they are placed but time assurance can still not be given. The items which are delivered via courier system require variable time and thus their accurate delivery time cannot be specified.
5. All the orders including those for Midnight, placed after 4 P.M. IST are taken to be the orders for the next day though we try our best to deliver that order on the same day. If an urgent order is place after that time, then try to give us a call to process it on the same day.
6. We deliver within city limits for Free. But, for some locations which are out of city limits or for some other remote destination within towns or villages, we charge for deliveries. For this, we may send a link to the customers for payment of this extra delivery charge, if applicable. The order is kept on hold till we receive any update from them. If we do not get a response in 5 days, we will cancel the order and repay the amount and inform the same to the customer via email.
7. If there arise a situation of flood, Heavy Rain/ Bandh / Strike or any other such reason which is beyond our control, we reserve the right to reschedule the delivery to an earlier or a later date.
8. If any particular date is not cited in the order, then we assume it to be the order for the day and therefore shall process and dispatch the product within 24 hours.
9. If an order is wished to be cancelled, then the customer has to do it at least 24 hours before the shipment or the date of delivery. In such cases, for the purpose of processing of credit card, 7% of the ordered amount will be deducted. If any modification of the order needs to be done, it has to be done at least 1 day before the delivery date within 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
10. If a complaint against the quality of the delivered product or a wrong delivery is to be placed by a customer, then he/she is requested to do it within 48 hours providing an image of the delivered product. Basing upon the complaint made, the refund or re-delivery will be made but the entire decision is shouldered by the proprietor of the website. We shall not be held liable for a claim amount of any nature more than the full value of the ordered amount under any condition
11. Though an appointment is made by us before delivery but if the recipient or any other representative is absent from the delivery location and the products to be delivered are perishable items, then the delivery is considered to be done.
12. We may call up the recipient to take appointment for hand delivery of perishable products like flowers or Cakes or in exceptional cases, to enquire about the locations or landmarks. If the recipient or any of his representatives is not there to collect at the time of delivery, we shall consider the order to be delivered. If also, for some reason, a recipient refuses to accept the product, we shall consider the order as delivered and no refund shall be processed for such cases. For any order in which problem arises due to the mistake of the buyer, for e.g. wrong location or incomplete information or recipient not reachable, no amount will be refunded.
13. Without providing any specified cause to the customer, may cancel the order or refuse the delivery. In such cases all the money will be refunded.
14. The MRP of the products which we sell on our website sums up the charges for our service, delivery and online transaction which are not shown separately due to technical restrictions.
15. The liability for the quality of a product lies with their proprietors. So, if you have any complaints against them, you might lodge it via us.
16. The drinks such as Wine and Champagne (Sparkling Wine) that are sold by us are Non-Alcoholic.
17. The trademarks/logos displayed on the products sold by our website are the properties of their respective owners or companies.
18. Under no situation, HDFC bank, who is our merchant, shall be held responsible for any loss or damage resulting directly or indirectly because of the decline of authorization for any Transaction, on account of the Cardholder having exceeded the preset limit mutually agreed by us with our acquiring bank from time to time.
19. The consignee must bear the Octroi or similar Charges, if any, imposed by the state where the recipient resides.
20. If, for an international order such as duties or taxes levied by the custom department of the country of the recipient, the customer has to bear it and we shall not be held responsible if in such cases delivery does not take place.
21. Total money refund will take place if we are unable to deliver the order. For any other charges such as loss or profits, emotional stress etc. arising because of non-delivery, we shall not be held responsible.
22. All claims are answerable under the authority of local court in India.
23. POD signed at the reception or by security personnel will be a valid proof of delivery for deliveries made at Hostel, Hotel and Hospital addresses. We always try to get the sign of the mentioned recipient but at these places, due to certain unavoidable and uncontrollable reasons, we cannot assure it.
